My first finish is a pillow! It isn't quilted, but stitched.
Well... I like to do some different kinds of handicrafts sometimes
and embroidery is lots of fun.
The fishes are stitched in chain stitch tightly together and in colors to match our red sofa.
It's sewn on linen that I dyed myself in a gray color.
When you finish a project, you are well worth a cup of coffee, a magazine and a cozy
moment on the sofa. Sweet....
In the afternoon, I began to draw a pattern and sewed a block to see how it looks
and whether the technique works.
I will continue tomorrow ... maybe it will be ok?
